We Are Physicians Not "Providers"

Our Ego Mind Is Powerful

The ego mind has lots of false identities. When we start with “I am” there is good chance our ego is speaking.

I am a mother, a sister, a physician, a runner… it can fill up pages. If you have a CV you can see “lots of roles.”

The false ego roles/ titles are temporary, they are not permanent. Only the true self, the soul is permanent (and herpes in the physical body just as aside).

But… when we have temporary roles, these roles should be accurate and not smudged, changed, or morphed. I am not advocating to hold on to the “role” as physician from the ego mind.

There is a thing called Spiritual Laws of the Day. Each day there is one for which we should lead our life. Thursday's Law is the Law of Intention and Desire. What is the intention with this movement? Anything rooted in fear or anger (thank you COVID I hope we learned this lesson), will never have a good outcome. Never.

But when we lead with love, things always work well. Love is the answer.

We need to understand the history, the context, the psychological erosion. When we show up as physicians and “Not Providers” patients feel their care would have been different. This is feedback from patients.

So… understand the history. Reclaim your title (while temporary and yes fully acknowledging that it is from false self), but it is out of love to be a healer. To be a teacher. We must awaken and understand that if we stay unconscious and not reclaim our title, it is a slippery slope.

So, let’s wake up. Take a stand. Lead with love.
